Wedding photojournalism

About

Photography is important to me because it gives people a medium to tell their stories…whether that be a bride and groom at the start of a new chapter of their lives, parents seeking to remember precious moments of their growing children, or a story of injustice needing a voice. Stories are an age old part of our humanity, they are the sum of our experiences. Through photography, I participate in that thread, telling stories with clarity, truth and imagination.

I love photographing weddings, full of all their emotion, drama, colour and beauty.  When you look through your album, I want you to be able to feel the ambience of the day all over again. I work in a photojournalistic style, documenting your day in a creative fashion. Story telling requires a bit of extravagance as well and I enjoy giving your portraits a dramatic twist, using your venue to its full potential.

I spend half the year shooting social photography and the other half of the year shooting documentary photography, with a particular interest in social justice which has taken me to cambodia, india and various places in africa. Please contact me for commissions.
